I wasn’t happy with the edge flow around the head/neck so I used NEX in Maya to fix the problem. I needed good flow around the neck so it can be animated later on. The poly count drooped down a bit also.
The final base mesh. I will probably add some nails and jewellery later on.
Everything is made in maya and NEX to get the basic edge flow.
Now I will start sculpting in mudbox!
I have now done some tracking. I used boujou. I had some problems with the track points moving when they going out from the footage. I corrected this by doing a lens correction in nuke.
I have also done a very rough model just to test it with the footage.
Some quick concept. Not the exact design, but an overall look!

I am very interested to combine cg with real footage. I want to learn the workflow and the pipeline how to do this. Make the character to blend with the footage and have a realistic result.
The end result of this project will be a 5-15 second long film clip. Included will be a cg character interacting with live action footage
